Author of Think Better Lead Better: Chinese Characters Reveal Strategies for Success. Despite not reading, writing or speaking ancient Chinese, translated 36 characters (words) into English. They are values words such as collaboration, honesty, innovation, leadership, listening, loyalty, respect, responsibility, and vision, among others. They reveal behaviors/mindsets necessary for implementing the particular value, cause provocative thinking, and taking action in a new way.
Founded first full-time International Office at Boston College. Enrollment increased from 30 to over 300 international students and scholars in 6 years. Evaluated all foreign credentials, established host family program, secured housing, obtained part time employment, and processed immigration credentials for international population.
Meredith was an executive recruiter in N.Y.C., Washington, D.C., and Stamford, CT. Specialized in robotics and naval aviation logistic systems. As an outplacement executive & career consultant, wrote hundreds of resumes.
Meredith is a Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM). She is a certified trainer of both Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and the Enneagram. Meredith is also a graduate of the NYPD Citizens’ Police Academy. She was a founding board member of the N.Y.C. Quality and Participation Association; and member of organizations such as the Executive Forum of NYU, The NY Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association, International Enneagram Association, Organization Development Network of N.Y.C., MIT Enterprise Forum, American Littoral Society, N.Y.C. Her hobbies include being a grand jury judge for New York Festivals World’s Best TV & Films, participation in the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS distributes Emmy awards in various categories); 10th year volunteering for Open House New York, the Special Olympics; and mentoring/ career development. An avid traveler, she has traveled for business and pleasure to the Arctic & Antarctic, Argentina, Chile, China, Costa Rica, Cuba, India, Israel, Morocco, Russia, Turkey, Uruguay, Western Europe, and even the Falkland Islands! Extended stays were in Panama, Sweden, Denmark, Bermuda, London and Paris. Born and raised in Providence, R.I., she takes great pride in having visited every state in America.
Meredith holds a Ph. D. in Behavioral Psych from Commonwealth Open University , MA in Developmental Psych from Columbia University; M.Div. in Spiritual Counseling from The New Seminary, is a licensed NY State Interfaith Minister; holds a BA in Sociology from New York University and AA from Colby-Sawyer College. She is an ongoing student, taking Continuing Ed courses, studying and exploring analytical psychology, the works of C.G. Jung, and fields of related interest at the C.G. Jung Foundation for Analytical Psychology in New York.
